Check for the program consuming the most of the CPU
    • Analyze the background processes and close down the ones which are not required
      while gaming.

In the majority of the cases, the browser consumes the majority of the CPU memory. Try to
close the browser and all its tabs.

    Check for malwares or viruses

A bug or virus may also cause heavy CPU usage by automatically initiating the
background processes. The inactivity of the Anti-Virus software in the PC may also let the malware inside

The Gaming performance can surely be hindered if certain malicious tasks or codes are running in your background. These malicious files can definitely decline your gaming performance, & make your computer slow by sucking up lot of computing power. To resolve this issue:

    • Install a trusted and verified Anti-Virus software.
    • Maybe try to entirely reset the PC and run it as a new machine.
    • Keeping regular check on the PC and if there is any issue occurring in the device.

    Reboot your System

Rebooting a system can get rid of all your temporary files & end all background services or programs. If your PC is lagging/sluggish rebooting your system might do a trick.

    Overheating issue of the CPU:

CPU can get overheated sometimes while running heavy games and gaming software. The cause can be inefficiency in dissipating head from the device. We have two fixes for this kind of issues:

    1. This issue can be settled by applying a good quality thermal paste on CPU coolers.

We can also use external CPU coolers to dissipate the internal heat released due to heavy gaming and in order to run the games smoothly.

Pausing the installing Updates while performing CPU intensive tasks

Windows 11 automatically downloads and install the Windows updates. However, the installation files are pretty large, it takes sufficient time, processing power and RAM to download and install those updates. I suggest that these updates should be delayed while gaming, coz it sucks up CPU usage enough to effect gaming performance  How to stop the ongoing update.it will make your CPU usages low

    Corrupt Game/System files

Once the malware/virus hits the device, the virus’s aftermath may persist even after
its removal. The files that get affected explicitly due to the virus may lose some data or
function in a very obnoxious manner.

These files may need to be repaired and surely need some repair to help the game run
successfully without crashing again and again. Correcting the files can be to format the
disk and remove everything off the root drive.

    • Try troubleshooting using the command prompt
    • Format the entire device and re-run the game by reinstalling it completely

Gaming requires a high-end CPU to yield the best possible results. Even after
spending loads on a computer device, the CPU may still be crashing or troublesome. The above-listed issues are a few things to check if the game doesn’t perform fully.

Ending Unnecessary Programs using Task Manager

You can ease up the load on the CPU by navigating to the task Manager. In task Manager you will see some ongoing applications, services, & background processes. You can take a look at those ongoing programs and remove or end those tasks, if those programs are unnecessary for you right now.

This will free up your RAM and processor for the tasks you want in hand. You can Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Alternatively, you can press Windows Logo Key +S and search for Taskbar Manager.

You can get quiet useful information about your PC using Task Manager including CPU usage, Memory Usage, GPU usage & performance of your PC.
